Demotix launched in January 2009.

Since then, you have joined in your thousands.

Today, we have over 25,000 users, of whom 4,500+ of you are active and send us stories.

You are spread between Chile and China, between Bolivia and Bangladesh, covering the hard edge of violent political events through to fashion, art and society.

You send us anywhere between 1,500 -2,000 stories every month, or around 25,000 images. And your work is seen by an ever growing number of visitors to Demotix (10% monthly growth; July 2011: 1.2m pageviews).

Through Demotix, you can follow each others’ work, comment on each others’ stories, get stuck into any number of conversations on our Forums, and help us improve what we do.
