Mobile Media Toolkit

The site showcases ways you can create and share media on your mobile phone, as well as how to keep your mobile communications secure. They cover the topics from start to finish - from preparation through equipment to technique. This may be useful for photographers who find themselves stuck using a mobile phone camera just as much as for non-photographers who want to start using that camera to report the news.

It also reiterates the critical importance of securing data and communications for reporters, particularly in jurisdictions without protection against authoritarian snooping. This could range from your contacts list to your photos to your calendar, or even the contents of your SMS messages.
