Features Viewfinder: the winners

We have a winner!

Phil Coomes and Emma Lynch - the amazing Picture team at BBC News Online - have been judging your entries for the Features Viewfinder competition.

There were over 400 entries, and the standard of photography was very high.

Phil chose The Bhopal Gas Disaster: The Consequences 25 Years Later as his winner. In his words: "We felt that he'd worked around the subject well, offering a range of pictures using different vantage points to create visual interest alongside text that included the background to the story. A very usable series."

Congratulations to Eduardo Díaz, who gets to turn his photographic work into a beautiful coffee-table book, thanks to Blurb, custom book publishers for the masses.

Second place went to Khmer Standoff at Preah Vihear Temple by Eric de Vries. Phil said: "The pictures conveyed the isolation of the posting and form an intriguing set."

Selected for third place was Joseph Kay's Mental health crisis in Ghana.

Congratulations to the winners, and everyone who entered. You can browse through more stories on the Feature page.
