With the world wide occupy protests coming up soon would it be an advantage to all if there was some base keyword sets? Then we could just adjust to suit for the local area's. This would hopefully make everything more searchable and give everyone better coverage.

If you add 'OccupyEurope' it will go into the hub when you publish it. Otherwise add keywords that picture editors may use to find your work.

Hi Stephen, would it be a good idea to have all the Hub tags and active hubs in a very visible location on the site? Maybe even this discussion, you or someone might post the active hubs and up date it when needed.

As for the tags used, they are created when a breaking news story comes in. So if there was a bombing in London, we would create it straight away, and populate with keywords that image buyers would potentially use.
Alas, we do a lot of keywording already for many many stories as a lot of people are still unsure what keywords are. You may still find that the ones we type may not be as strong as ones you have thought of.

While we do help you for time to time in regards to keywords, this area should be yours to drive people, as you were there at the event and have first hand knowledge of the players, what happened, alternate spellings and quirky areas that we may have missed.
