Just wondering, if I were to apply for the Press Accreditation for a sporting event would that only be as a journalist or could it cover photography too?
It depends what the organisers are offering. Check with the organisers first to see if they allow photographers.

Thanks Lawrence, I guess I'd be thinking about Sporting events such as soccer matches etc where photographers also get accreditation. I was just wondering when applying through Demotix you might need to specify a differentiation really!
I don't cover any sports really so I am not quite sure what the set up is. But you really need to speak to the press office of any club you want to follow. Once you have the details demotix will write the necessary paperwork. ITMT it might be worth your while to start covering some sports and football events. You need to show a track record and that you are serious about it. It does not matter what you do as long as it is sports. You still have some work to do. best

Following up on this I made a few applications site for the letters and I am only noticing now that there is a link to see the results of the submissions made. However when I click on this link I get the following error message:
"Your account does not have the permission to access this page. If you just signed up, please make sure you clicked the link in your welcome email."
Just wondering has anybody else had this problem pop up?
