Sorry, I know there are far too many press card questions but I had to add another. Just noticed that mine expired in July and would like to know the procedure to go about doing so. Forgive me if it's been addressed elsewhere.
You can get a new pass by sending another payment of $20 to presspass {at} demotix.com, including your original press pass number.
If your address has changed, you can send us an email at the same address with your new information (again, including your original reference).

i am new to demotix, just wondering what can i do with the press pass?
The Press Pass is used to identify yourself as a member of the press. This means that it has a wide variety of uses - it might be for proving you're a journalist in order to gain accreditation or access for a specific event, to show to police officers to demonstrate that you're simply present to document events (for example, a riot or a demonstration) rather than being a participant, etc.
In any situation where you need to prove to someone that you're a bona fide journalist, the press pass is a useful tool to have.
