Sony World Photography Awards - entries close 4 Jan

Hi everyone,

yet another awards show doing the rounds at the moment (I got six emails from them this afternoon - overenthusiastic interns, I suspect!) - the Sony World Photography Awards, which they do in co-operation with the World Photography Organisation.

There's a bunch of different contests to enter - the "Open" competition carries a prize pot of $5,000, while the "Professional" one has a heftier $25,000 prize.

There's also prizes for Youth, Moving Images, 3D photography and video, and photography students.
