I am logged in. Somebody has "followed" me recently and I can see their avatar in my Dashboard. But when I click on the avatar to see who this person is, I get a system message with a big red cross that says my account does not allow me to access this page.... I've tried a few times.

Can you tell me the address of their profile so that I can take a look, please? There's been a bug where the spam bot's been unpublishing profiles seemingly at random - should be fixed soonish.

No can do - all I can see is the tiny avatar and when I click on it I get the "sorry" page. I have no idea who the person is.

could be a spammer that I've deleted - some of them have pretty strange automated behaviours.

I get the same problem as Chris quite often. link to a page that has a big red X and I don't have authority to access the page. Also the spam bot bining most of my forum posts...... Solving problems like this are more important than new toys like iphone apps?

Well Chris, there's a simple formula you could run that statement through to check it....
Do we make money for you from forum posts? No.
Do we make money for you from photos, such as those that will be uploaded by the people using the iPhone app? Yes!
Do the tech team have more important things to be doing than fixing the spam system in the forums, like moving the entire site to a new hosting provider, sorting out the upload page, sorting out video uploads, backing up the site, and any number of other high-priority tasks? Yes!
That's the logic we're running on at the moment I'm afraid - priorities, priorities...

Happens quite often. Sometimes I can go to their profile via a story they have filed.

"priorities, priorities..." I would tend to agree with Tom here. Because of work I had to cut down on my postings, but touch wood the systems seems to be behaving its self recently. However, I don't file in paragraphs any more, but bocks of text. Lawrence
