Distinguished colleagues,
What does the picture of the week in Dimutx?Is it a competition and gets the owner's award-winning or what I mean? We have been nominated in one of my photos in the Photos of the Week, but I do not know what happened after?

I run the Photo of the Week contest as a friendly way of showing some of our favourite images that have been submitted each week.

We don't want to start giving out awards or prize money for it, because there are too many good photos submitted each week and I don't want to be the bad guy who decides who gets a chance to compete.

We just want to use it as a chance for you to tell us what kind of photography you like, to highlight some of the best work to other members so they can see it and enjoy it, and to showcase it to people outside Demotix as well.

I'll post this reply in your other thread, but then I'm afraid I'll have to lock one - you can't post the same thing everywhere!
