Obvious doom&gloom, riots, emergencies, mainstream culture events and anniversaries and celebrations are all right, but is that all that world outside Russia is interested in, newswise?

There are fears of violence breaking out between the gay rights activists and the ultra right wing groups.

This could a good photo opportunity if some of you are interested in covering it.
