Goma, DR Congo. 22/11/09 One of the easiest and cheapest ways of moving goods in Goma is by chukudu, a human powered vehicle, based on the frame of a push-bike, which can carry loads of over 800kg. In Goma, people use chukudus for carrying almost everything, from luggage to charcoal. Renting one of these bikes costs around $5, with prices varying, depending on what you are carrying.
