Face Painting is a part of WWF campaign to save Tiger in Malaysia. It is in conjunction with Chinese Year 2010, where Chinese celebrate year of Tiger. The campaign aims to achieve the number of 1000 tigers by end of 2022, the next year of tiger in Chinese Lunar Calendar. This face painting held at Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple, Selangor, Malaysia.

From adults to children from different races joined in the 1000 tigers 1000 faces campaign that was launched by World Wildlife Federation (WWF) at Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Buddhist Temple in Jenjarom, southwest of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The purpose of the campaign is to help double the number of wild tigers in Malaysia by the next years of the tiger 2022 in conjunction with the Chinese Lunar New Year of the Tiger The campaign was accomplished by some 80 volunteered face painters and helpers who carried out the mission in two sessions, symbolizing current tiger numbers and a doubling of this population by the next year of the tiger respectively.
