In the run up to the Presidential election of 2010, environmental group Greenpeace challenges the presidential candidates to address environmental issues in their campaign agenda, and specifically with respect to the basic necessities, such as clean energy, clean water, safe food. From 3rd week of February up to the 2nd week of March environmental group Greenpeace held a banner hang with the message 'Urgently Needed: President for Clean Energy, Clean Water, Safe Food' in different over passes of key streets and roads in Quezon City and Manila. 

Greenpeace believes that it is our duty as citizens to make sure that the environment serves as an important part of any candidates agenda for this upcoming elections.(c)Greenpeace/AC Dimatatac
