Victims of typhoons Ondoy (Ketsana) and Pepeng (Parma) are trying to recover from the tragedy. Private individuals and non-governmental organizations are sharing their resources to augment the basic needs of victims. Without these non-governmental organizations and concerned individuals, it would be too hard for the government to reach out all the victim's needs which is its primary responsibility.

Photos were taken at Elementary School of Concepcion, Marikina City serving as the biggest evacuation center for typhoon Ondoy. This primarily houses the victims from the community of Tumana - a village in Marikina City. People are still lacking enough foods and other basic necessities.
