Ashgabat City Park is situated between the Kara Kum desert and Kopet Dag mountain range. The scenery is incredibly surreal as are the laws, residence are restricted to owning one cat and one dog this is all part of a mass cleaning campaign that the government has enacted on the city.
Cleaners and tree surgeons were the only people I spotted in the park, one cleaner is seen cleaning around the statue to former President Niazov's holy book 'Ruhnama'.
