There has been a 36hour railway workers strike that started yesterday. Protests against SNCF making changes to their freight operations. If someone has some nice photos depicting the effect of the strike, would be nice to see it on Demotix.

obviously the news of the day is MJ death. very likely that people in every country will be commemorating this in all sorts of ways. be on the lookout for something interesting, unique, original etc. a fresh approach to the topic. think of what the media will cover and look for something different. I know it sounds corny and broad and general but it is the news of the day and there will be demand for such photos. if any questions, nico@demotix.com
