The Munich marathon is one of the biggest marathons in Germany with more than 18,000 runners from over 50 nations participating in the full marathon, half marathon and 10km race through the capital of the German state of Bavaria.

More than 18,000 runners from 56 nations participates at the Munich Marathon 2012. They have 3 different courses from 42,195km to 10km along Munichs grand boulevards and different sights. The marathon is the German championship.
