Ogni anno alla fine di settembre dagli alpeggi scendono gli animali che hanno passato l'estate in alta montagna, il gregge si riversa sulle strade accudito dai pastori e a notte inoltrata scende a valle per andare a svernare in luoghi più caldi. La transumanza è una pratica antica che si ripete immutata nei secoli. Le greggi compiono un lungo viaggio che dalle montagne le portera nel clima più mite della pianura. Every year in late September from the alpine pastures come the animals which have spent the summer in the mountains, the flock comes onto the streets and are cared for by shepherds during the night down in the valley as they to go to winter in warmer places. Transhumance is an ancient practice that is repeated unchanged over the centuries. The Flocks made a long journey from the mountains which will bring them into the milder climate of the plains.
