The Swiss countryside is full of quirky traditions. This summer ritual in L'Etivaz, Vaud, is all about the community getting together for a ceremonial cutting of the fields. All attempts are rigorously judged for time and accuracy, and medals and prizes are awarded for the best effort in each class.
