Two 'birdmen' enjoy rare winter parapente flying conditions above the mountains of North Wales. Caernarfon, North Wales, UK. 20/02/10. Two parapente enthusiasts in North Wales took to the skies today in perfect winter flying conditions. The icy breeze enabled Gareth and Iwan to enjoy some rare winter gliding above the snow covered Snowdonia mountains. The pilot of the yellow parapente Gareth Aston commented that: 'It's just great to get some winter flying time' after his final touchdown close to the village of Mynydd Llandegai above Caernarfon.
