Police break down a door to a house in Oxford Street, Gloucester and enter in search of illegal activities. Several dogs and dog handlers were at the scene along with armed officers. Officers were seen taking equipment into the house and later removing some items from the house. Several officers who entered the house were armed with handguns. Gloucester, UK. 01/03/2010. 1st March 2010 at Oxford Street, off London Road, Gloucester, a large cavalcade of police cars with a helicopter surveillance team hovering overhead cordoned off the street and broke down the door of a house. The door took some considerable force to be broken down. The officers in the raid wore protective gear with a least one riot shield in use. Several dogs and dog handlers were at the scene along with armed officers. Officers were seen to be taking equipment into the house and later removing some items from the house. Several officers who entered the house were armed with handguns. Residents were not allowed to leave their houses and were anxiously watching the police activity from their windows and doorways. By 3.p.m the decision was made to reopen the street and allow the public to have access while the police teams moved off. As far as could be ascertained, no arrests were made.
