As part of the national Armed Forces Day celebrations taking place over the weekend Sleaford held a parade at 10:45 this morning. A large contingent from RAF Cranwell and RAF Digby represented the Royal Airforce together with RAF bandsmen who played during the march and in Sleaford's market place to the delight of onlookers.

Sleaford, Lincolnshire, and a gap in the high street remains unfilled as the ghost of Woolworths continues to haunt the local economy. It is estimated that for every pound in the locals pockets an incredible 86 pence is spent outside the town. As one of the few high street names in the town, Woolworths is still deeply missed two months on.
