Roshni (name changed), an 8 year-old daughter of migrant workers, was raped in Kapashera, Delhi by an unknown person at her home on 17th Jan 2013. Workers and supporters marched to the local police station to protest police inaction in the case.

After previous confrontations, people once more gathered around India Gate in the capital to protest the rape of a 23-year-old student while aboard a bus in South Delhi. The woman was reportedly raped by six men, including the bus driver.
