Billionaires for Wealthcare supported the status quo during a health care reform protest outside the office of Anthem Blue Cross. San Francisco, USA. 18/03/2010.

Billionaires for Wealthcare sang 'We Shall Overcharge' and petted their friend the Blue Dog Democrat as activists protested outside the office of Anthem Blue Cross in San Francisco. The health insurance company sparked controversy when it proposed rate increases as much as 39% on individual policies.

Activists demanded to meet with someone from the company, but were just given the number for media relations in Boston. One of the Billionaires left a message on their voice mail complaining about the protesters.

The activists supported SB 810 to create a single payer health care system in California. The legislation has passed, but is vetoed each time by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
