An urgent demonstration took place outside Sheffield Town Hall yesterday, to protest against the election of 2 British National Party MEPs to the European Parliament, one of whom was Andrew Brons, who was elected in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.

There were speakers including Paul Blomfield who hopes to be the next Labour candidate for the Sheffield Central constituency when Richard Caborn stands down.

Lots of people came to express their dismay and discontent, as well as listen to speakers and watch Samba drumming.
