The town of Marjah in Afghanistan is home to fertile opium crops and has been a recognised Taliban stronghold for several years. U.S. marines launched Operation Moshtarek on 13/02/2010 to destabilize the Taliban presence. Marjah, Afghanistan. 22/02/2010.
