(June 18, 2009) Presidential hopeful Marco Enriquez-Ominami met supporters in downtown Santiago during an event to collect the 36,000 signatures required to officially register his candidacy. Ominami currently holds third place (13 percent) in the presdential race, according to an opinion poll released by the Centro de Estudios Politicos (CEP) on Thursday.
