'May 2 2009. 2.37 pm. Teatro Pablo Tobon. Medellin, Colombia.', said the appointment of the Global March for Marijuana.

And so there I was, and I said hello to a couple of friends and I joined the march and walked across downtown streets on a rainy saturday, guarded by police, and smoking marijuana.

From Facebook to the streets.

From the corner of the neighborhoods to lead civil movements.

This march, known almost as the most peaceful in history, was made in a city (and in a country) which for long time ago its in a war beacuse of drugs, was possible because of the power of internet, and winds of change that blow in all corners of the world.

This was a start beginning to promote a worldwide discussion on drugs, and stop making a cruel and useless war that only affects the environment and men.

We belong to a different generation, who just want to live. We dont want to miss our job, or freedom, or the pulsations due to a personal or mystical or political decision.
