Two car bombs were detonated in the Turkish border town of Reyhanli, less than five kilometres from Syria. 40 people are reported dead, and many injured, in what seems like a spillover from the Syrian conflict into Turkey.

Turkish members of the Türkiye Komünist Partisi, mostly from the Alawite (Alevi) sect of Islam, demonstrate in Antakya, southern Turkey, in response to two car bombings in border town Reyhanli, 40km away.
