In a press conference from Economics Minister Philipp Rösler, if Germany does not take action, the workforce will shrink from 50 million to 42 million by 2030. Rosler stated that immigration was being looked at as a serious answer to the shrink.

U.S. President Barack Obama officially concludes a two-day visit in Mexico, and continues on to Costa Rica in his working tour of Latin America. Mexico's Chancellor José Antonio Meade Kuribreña greeted the President on his departure.
