1000 face painted 'tigers' were spotted at the Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen temple today, at the launch of a conservation campaign by the World Wildlife Federation (WWF) to double the number of wild tigers in Malaysia by 2022 (the next year of the tiger). The 1000 tiger painted faces was accomplished by some 80 volunteer face-painters and helpers who carried out the mission in two sessions. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 20/02/2010.

1000 tigers were spotted at the Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen temple today, the campaign, which to help double the number of wild tigers in Malaysia by the next years of the tiger 2022 was launched by World Wildlife Federation (WWF). Kuala Lumpur. February 20 2010. The 1000 tiger painted faces was accomplished by some 80 volunteer face-painters and helpers who carried out the mission in two sessions,symbolishing current tiger numbers and a doubling of this population by the next year of the tiger respectively.
