The first weekly 'Don't Attack Iran' demonstration was held outside the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Westminster to to highlight the concerns over a war on Iran. London, UK. 19th January 2012
Don't Attack Iran demonstration outside the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Westminster marks a start of a weekly protest aiming to build up into a wider movement opposing the military intervention in Iran, Syria and elsewhere.
The demo was called by Peace Strike and is supported by the 'Solidarity with the Iranian People's Struggle' campaign, who highlight the perils of a military intervention from an Iranian dissident perspective.
A small, but vocal and determined group of anti-war activists took part in the protest, warning of the far-reaching consequences of attacking Iran and calling for a peaceful resolution of the world conflicts.
Next week's demonstration is scheduled for Wednesday 25th January 2012, from 4-6pm.
