Russian eco-activists protest against nuclear pollution

Russian eco-activists in Novosibirsk protest against plans by the Russian government to move 22.000 tonnes of nuclear waste from central Russia to the Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia. Novosibirsk, Russia. 29th January 2012
Russian government hass announced plans of moving more than 22.000 tonnes of nuclear waste produced by "Leningradskaya" nuclear power plant to Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia. Nuclear waste will be transported with trains, using trans-siberian railway. "Nuclear trains" will drive through big cities, like Novosibirsk.
Novosibirsk eco-activists protest against this decision. Despite the cold weather (about -30 °C) some people came with posters and respirators.
