Spontaneous demonstration despite attacks by police - Berlin
Approximately 100 to 150 people participate in a spontaneous demonstration for the house project "Liebig 14" in Berlin Kreuzberg. The police arrive quickly, but could not stop the demonstration. Germany. 3rd February 2012
Tonight between 100-150 supporters of the leftist scene in Berlins Kreuzberg gathered on the Oranienplatz, to demonstrate on the occasion of the anniversary of the eviction of the house project "Liebig14". The police had seemingly got before knowledge of the plans and appeared promptly on the square. They stopped shortly at the beginning of the demonstration the first ones, but then the group moved on at the Naunystraße, Waldemarstraße and Mariannenplatz to Lausitzer Platz, where the participants dispersed. During the Demonstration several times been ignited fireworks and firecrackers and slogans for the "Liebig14" were shouted. Several Police cars were attacked with stones and bottles.
The police controlled some alleged participants.
