Ten folk dance groups from ten countries participated in the recently concluded Fiesta Folkloriada, a gathering that showcases the culture of different countries through music and dance.
Fiesta Folkoriada intended to promote solidarity and goodwill among the participating countries. It served as a venue for artists and performers to share their cultural heritage and tradition through dance and music.
The dance troupes in the program included aint Sebastiansgilde from Westerlo of Belgium; Professional Folklore Ensemble "ISKRA" of Bulgaria; Little Egret Folk Dance Troupe, China; Ayudha and Nusantara Art Forum, Indonesia; Cho Nam Gyu Song Jong-Eun, Korea; Poligrodzianie of Poland; Folk Dance Ensemble LIPA of Slovakia; Akragas Folk Dance Group of Sicily; Ranranga Dance Academy of Sri Lanka; and Bayanihan, the National Dance Company of the Philippines.
