Meeting between 4 Members of the Islamic City Council of Tehran and the Families of Arrested People

The meeting room was full of crowd today. Some people didn't have any seat. They were families of arrested, disappeared and killed politicians, journalists, lawyers and normal people who was arrested during the election aftermath.
Families introduced themselves and talked about their problems, and the fact that they are unable to contact their son/daughter/sister/brother/father. And that they are under physical, neural and mental torture. Even a mother told that she heard that her daughter is being raped in jail.
Sometimes when someone spoke, others where crying. Specially when mother of Sohrab was speaking.
Ms. Ebtekar which was in cabinet of Mr. Khatami ex-president of Iran, brought a suggestion. She said that we (members of Tehran Islamic City Council) can set a meeting with Mr. Shahroudi (master of Judgement power) and report him what you told us today.

A lady asked the council members to sign a letter and anounce that we hate what's going on these days with our people. Then Mr. Chamran left the meeting. (mr. Chamran is one of supporters of Mr. Ahmadi Nejad). Then meeting continued without him.

4 members from the council are:

1. Mr. Chamran (chief of parliament)
2. Dr. Ali Najafi
3. Dr. Masoume Ebtekar
4. Mr. Dabir

* Mohsen Mirdamadi
* Keyvan Samimi
* Ghochani
* Tajzadeh
* Ghalebi
* Ahmad Zeidabadi
* Bastani
* Javad Emam

And mother of Martyr Sohrab A'rabi.
