Iranian Americans and their supporters gathered and marched through downtown Minneapolis in an act of solidarity with the people of Iran and those around the world who were also demonstrating against the Iranian regime.
As the group marched through the city, they chanted their support for those who have been demonstrating in the streets of Iran since the disputed election in June. In an attempt to draw greater attention to the plight of the people inside Iran, literature was handed out to people they encountered. They were met with widespread support by pedestrians and and indivduals honking the horns of their automobiles.
