The city of Bilbao, with its 350,000 inhabitants, is an architectural goldmine can be seen immediately on landing at the airport: the terminal, designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, resembles a white dove. Those taking the Metro Bilbao, can marvel at the train stations designed by Lord Norman Foster. The famous architect designed not only some of the stations, but also two completely new metro lines.
