Artists collaborate for Poet Forum International - Indonesia
Collaborative art performances, including poetry, music and dance are organized for the Poet Forum International. Titled 'What's poetry?' the lively event closed with a performance by Sawung Jabo and Circus Barock.
Collaborative art performance poetry, music, and dance organized by the Poet Forum International - Indonesia titled "What's poetry?" lively at Cak Durasim building, and closed with Sawung Jabo and circus Barock performance.
25 international poets and Indonesia took turns reading the poem in the series of collaborative art performances. In the activity that lasts for 3 days in Surabaya, of which they performed at the University of Petra, Widya Mandala, and peak of the event at the House of Cak Durasim, Surabaya.
Uniquely in this event, not only displays the reading of poetry, but also reads poetry accompanied by dance, and even poetry, dancing and singing, as is shown by the duo Cok Sawitri and Ayu Laksmi.
International poet performed in "What's Poetry?" are Ulrike Draesner, Arne Ratenberg, Michael Augustin (Germany), Tumi, Mbali Bloom, Charl Pierre Naude, Rustun Kozain,, and Vonani Bila (South Africa), Courtney Sina (New Zealand), Gerdur Kristny (Iceland), Adam Wiedewitsch (USA), Sarah Holland-Batt (Australia), Martin Glaz (Denmark), Hagar Peeters, Hans Van De Waarsenburg (Netherlands), Sujata Bhatt (India), and dancing Itumelang Makgope (Soth Africa).
Indonesian poet like Ayu Laksmi, Cok Sawitri, Fikar Edha, Akhudiat, John Waromi, and Anis Sayidah.
