The Italian trade unions CGIL, CISL and UIL hold a nationwide general strike to protest against national pension reform and the interventions on the dislocated workers who voluntarily stepped away from jobs.
Hundreds of thousands have been demonstrated on April 13th in Rome during the nationwide general strike, called by the Italian Trade Unions - CGIL, CISL, UIL, for public and private sector to protest against the reform of pensions and the interventions on the dislocated workers (workers who left their jobs following agreements between trade unions and companies) that the Italian government intend to implement in Italy in order to reduce the public debt.
