Flashmob supporting Migrant Domestic Workers

Activists calling for Migrant Domestic Workers rights in Lebanon covered themselves with white sheets painted in red symbolizing the problems workers are facing,calling to reconsider the sponsorship and work regulations of Migrant Domestic Workers.

According to activists,the problems of the sponsorship are that Migrant Domestic Workers (MDW) have lack of freedom and employers can violate their rights because they interpret their responsibility for workers to be ownership of them,and sponsorship creates an unequal relationship between employers and MDW's ,also it can encourage abuse and exploitation of MDW's.
