European Conference of LGBT Families in Spain hold conference
The Second European Conference on LGBT Families want to share the situation of legal rights and inequality suffered by children of LGBT families in different countries across Europe.
The Second European Conference on LGBT Families took place in Lloret de Mar (Spain) with almost 1000 people from different European countries to attend the Conference.
The meeting combined conferences, workshops,a marriage of 15 couples and shared life experiences and leisure time for all families. The meeting was organized by FLG, an association of lesbian, gay and transgender families that fight for total equality of rights and duties of LGBT families.
In the manifesto prepared by LGBT Families Movement they claim the right of marriage between same gender couples.
The equality of rights, regardless of the parental status for heterosexual couples, married or not, for homosexual couples, married or not and for people who want to establish single parent families.
The right of adoption and foster care, always protecting the rights of the children, non-discrimination should be applied regardless of marital status or sexual orientation.
The right to access assisted reproduction, regardless of marital status or sexual orientation.
Equal access to surrogate parenthood all across Europe, as it is a worldwide reality.
The acceptance by the European states of marriage and affiliation established in a second country, in terms of reciprocity, mutual respect and international treaties.
