Many cities in Mexico had marches on the occasion of Labor Day except in Mexico City where the president made private activities. May Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the economic and social achievements of workers.
In the city of Queretaro hundreds of teachers complained to Gobernandor Jose Calzada to fulfill his word to standardize the salaries of secondary teachers on television system with other teachers.
