Surabaya Music Expo (SMEX) 2012

Musical instruments of the largest exhibitions in eastern Indonesia, Surabaya Music Expo (SMEX) were held at the Grand City Mall, Surabaya, Thursday (3/5). Exhibition of musical instruments that are held for the third time, a significant response.

"Since 2010, the event was held. Music's got a pretty good response from the community. Clear and thematic segmentation, we are of the Grand city, received a well such as this event," said General Manager Convention and Exhibition, Grand City Mall, Gito Sugiarto.

Not only musical instrument exhibition, which presented some of the other products that are currently in demand are also presented. Such as, Computer Audio, Lighting, Sound System and musical instrument products such as guitars, drums, piano and some other musical instrument with famous brands.

Products are present at the event itself is not solely derived from international brands. Because of the increasingly fierce competition, local products began to enliven the musical instruments of international markets. Some local products that have penetrated the export and is famous in Britain, especially in Europe and Asia were also in attendance at the event.

"Well, we do expect with this event, as a starting point toward the international. And we are also introducing products that are well-known outside the outside, but not in Indonesia. Therefore, the lovers of indie music band much enjoyed," said Gito Sugiarto.

In terms of organizing their exhibitors the Grand City Mall be some collaboration with agencies and also the main distributor of Jakarta. "We organize it through there. And from there we know when this product is in great demand is growing and lighting. So, this event not only for music lovers. But also aimed at field of Entertainment," explained Gito.

The event will be held till May 6. This exhibition presents many instruments and musical instruments and stage. The event also celebrated musicians for clinics guitars latest release of various brands.
