Hugo Mederos returned to the home where his ex-wife Lisa, and daughter were allegedly murdered by Neo-Nazi J. T. Ready. Ready is reported to have murdered four in the house in what was believed to be a domestic dispute.

Mederos's ex-wife, their daughter, Amber, her boyfriend, and Amber's year and a half old daughter were victims of the fatal shootings.

Mederos, a neighbor and relatives arrived with a rental truck to take care of his ex-wife and child's personal belongings.

Mederos said the hardest part was going into the house and finding his daughter's shoes. He is grateful that his youngest daughter survived. She was in the house when the shooting began and then ran to a nearby neighbor's house. He told reporters that he intended to take his surviving daughter back to Flordia with him.

Reading was a know neo-nazi who claimed to have left the organization and was working with a militia group, the border guard. While the group had no official standing, it did conduct military style patrols checking for illegal immigrants. Reading had announced his plans to run for Sheriff in an adjacent county.

The mass murder took place in Gilbert a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.

No suicide note has been found.
