The European Policy Center hosted a briefing titled: "Montenegro - Next in line for EU accession?" in Brussels. The speaker invited was Aleksandar Pejovic, Chief Negotiator and State Secretary for EU integration, Montenegro.

Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic is Chief Negotiator for the accession of Montenegro to the European Union.
He was born in 1974 in Kotor (Montenegro)and after completing studies in Athens, he teached at the Grammar School of Herceg Novi and joined in 2000 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He worked also in the Office of Cooperation between Montenegro and Slovenia. In March 2010, he was appointed Head of the Mission of Montenegro to the EU as Ambassador and has participated in the most important events related to the European Integration of Montenegro.
He has published several specialist papers in the International relations and geopolitics, as well as one novel.
