Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama receives one of the world's richest prizes, the Templeton Prize, in London. He is greeted at St. Paul's Cathedral by religious leaders and supporters.

The Templeton Prize valued at 1.1m pounds ($1.7) is the world's largest award given to an individual, honoring a living person for making exceptional contributions to spiritual life. Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama announced that he donate the 1.4 million euros (1.1 million pounds) Templeton Prize to charity.
