A rainbow of political actors has been involved with the campaign so far. Some people come to the caravans and set-up their own stalls. These range from Friends of the Earth to the Labour and Green parties.

The campaigners said that investing in renewable and sustainable energy sources can be one way out of the recession. However, the Beecroft Report claims that greater flexibility in the workforce would provide more employment opportunities.
