The remains of 91 Palestinian militants whose attacks killed hundreds of Israelis over the past 35 years were returned to the West Bank and Gaza. Israel returned the remains of about 100 Palestinians to the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

The remains beong to Palestinian militants killed by the Israeli security forces over the last 30 years. The bodies were buried in a Israeli military cemetery in the Jordan Valley, and returned as part of goodwill gesture to Palestinian President Authority Mahmoud Abbas.
