Tour de Singkarak (TDS) 2012 UCI Asia Cycling Tour will commence Sawah Lunto first stage on June 4, 2012. participants transfer from Padang city to Padang Panjang by cars and then change with train called Mak Itam to Sawah Lunto.
The Tour de Singkarak Official Committee decided to stop the train at Solok Train Station because the Mak Itam train was to slow. The riders complained because in the train carriages are very hot and lack of the drinks and food. The journey must be taken from the Padang Panjang to Sawah Lunto was almost 5 hours.
Then they transfer by car to destination, Sawah Lunto.
Tour de Singkarak (TDS) 2012 UCI Asia Cycling Tour will commence Sawah Lunto first stage on June 4, 2012. TDS includes 7 stages with 854 km followed by 16 international teams from foreign country (Japan, Iran, Singapore, Australia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Taiwan, Netherlands, Malaysia) and 9 Indonesian teams.
